Ontario Ombudsman launches special investigation into province’s services

Too many families with adult children who have developmental disabilities are failing to get the services they need from the Ontario government, Ombudsman Andre Marin said Thursday as he launched a special investigation. An ever-increasing number of desperate families complained their loved ones are at risk of ending up in a homeless shelter or jail because there is nowhere to care for them, said Marin.
